HOW I WILL HELP YOU BUY a home
Get Pre-Approved
If you are a serious buyer you should get pre-approved for a mortgage before starting to look at homes. Many websites offer pre-qualification where you submit your info and you will get an idea of how much you can expect to be pre-approved for. A pre-approval process will go deeper into your financial situation and require documentation. But remember, even a lender will only take certain expenses into consideration so you should make a budget with all your expenses, including dining, entertainment, shopping, hairdresser and so on. There are many free budget templates on the web. If you need any help in this part of the process I am more than happy to guide you in the right direction!
Showtime!
When we know the budget for your new home, we will, based on your wishes and must-haves, set you up with a search online. In this part of the process it is important, however, to be open-minded about properties and neighborhoods to really see what is out there. I will encourage you to go to open houses, and together we will go look at properties that are within your budget. I will keep you down to earth when you are dreaming too big, and I will help you see the possibilities when everything looks hopeless!
From Offer To Closing
When you work on your budget and funding, make sure to set aside enough savings for earnest money, inspections, closing costs and mortgage points if applicable. When we find your dream home I will put an offer in and negotiate on your behalf. When the offer is accepted I will guide you all the way through the home inspection process until you have the keys in your hand. My job is to make the real estate buying process simple for you, and I can´t wait to help you find your dream home!
